Bread Consumption History
Kevin has been classified as a Tier 2 Bread Consumer (Opportunistic) under the NRDNK Bread Classification System. This designation indicates a duck who will accept bread when offered but does not actively solicit it from strangers (the Registry does not use the word “begging”), and shows preference for artisan varieties over standard white bread.

Dietary Advisory
Field observers are reminded that bread is nutritionally inadequate for waterfowl and that Kevin’s continued acceptance of bread is being monitored. Kevin has been formally advised of this via the standard NRDNK-Avian Dietary Notice posted at all registered feeding sites. Kevin has acknowledged the notice by quacking once and then eating more bread. Compliance has been noted.
Incident History
Kevin has a clean record with no incidents requiring formal disciplinary action. A 2019 report of “aggressive behavior toward a child’s pretzel” was investigated and subsequently dismissed. The pretzel was recovered. Kevin was not charged. A stern memo was drafted anyway, for morale.
